| Scope of Work | Captain Springs Reserve is situated in the industrial area of Onehunga and is a contaminated site. The main user groups include the All Breeds Dog Training Club and the Te Papapa Bowling Club. The aim of the project was to provide for the recreational needs of the user groups and the general public with consideration of the contamination issues with the site. LandscapeWorks successfully incorporated the Parklife Products designed and manufactured basketball half court facility. In addition to the existing users, the reserve is now very popular with the adjacent factory workers who play basketball at lunch time and use the picnic tables and seating to eat their lunch. |
