| Scope of Work | The aim of this project was to create a series of imaginative, interlinked, vibrant, and meaningful public open spaces for Henderson, located adjacent to the recently completed new Civic Buildings and mixed use commercial development of Waitakere Central. The project included a traditional Japanese viewing garden including a timber pergola, a series of waterfalls, lighting, ornamental tree and shrub planting, substantial natural stone terracing, a range of paving materials, public art, lighting, signage, street furniture and provision for a street market and a raised lawn. BGLA led the design project and LandscapeWorks provided the detailed design documentation as part of our ongoing collaboration. |
